I grew up playing ice hockey in Australia and at the age of 13 I moved to the Czech Republic to pursue my dream of playing hockey professionally. After six years in Czech and a new language under my belt I then moved to North America where I was drafted in the 3rd round 89th overall by the Washington Capitals in 2014. Becoming the first Australian to be drafted into the NHL. I made my NHL debut on October 7th 2018 and also had my first NHL goal in the same game. Therefore becoming the first Australian to play and score a goal, in NHL history. Later that year we went on to win the Stanley cup, one of the most prestige’s cups in the world. Today, I am currently under contract with the St Louis Blues.
