Matt Polster is an American central midfielder who has also played at right back. Matt signed for New England Revolution in July 2020 following his transfer from Rangers for an undisclosed fee. To acquire Matt’s MLS rights New England traded $100,000 in 2021 Allocation money to the Chicago Fire where he played between 2015-18.
The USA international returns to the MLS after playing for Rangers between January 2019 to July 2020 making appearances for the club in the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup and also the Europa League.
Matt made 11 appearances for the United States U23 side between 2015-16 before making his debut for the senior side in January 2018 against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Matt is currently signed to a long term deal with Adidas.
