Igor Silva de Almeida, simply known as Igor Silva is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Croatian club Osijek. Igor was born in Rio de Janeiro and started his professional career with Comercial Futebol Clube in Brazil. At the age of 13, he made his first team debut in the Copa Paulista. Two years later, he featured for the team in Paulista A2. In 2015, he moved abroad and joined the academy of Greek club Asteras Tripoli. He was promoted to the senior team in the following season. He spent two seasons with the club, amassing 34 caps, scoring one goal and adding two assists. On January 11th, 2018- he joined fellow league club Olympiacos as a replacement for the departing Diogo Figueiras. On July 29th 2020, Osijek announced the acquisition of the player signing a three years' contract.
